I agree, keeping your resume professional looking is vital. It's hard to believe that some people have made the mistakes you've mentioned above--wow! It's also a good idea to have someone else look over your resume for missed mistakes.. spell check doesn't always catch all the incorrect grammar. Good Advice.

I really see where you're coming from and it makes sense; most people like to sugar-coat, and in my opinion that's just a big waste of time for everyone. It doesn't help the writer (in the first place) and what is leaving a comment that's not honest? What do you get out of it besides an attempt to get people to your own site?

Nice Article. I understand what you mean about the presentation of the resume. The first thing the resume reader sees before what's even written on the resume, is the resume itself so it's important that it looks good.

This is some good advice, although I don't think I quite agree with tip #4. I've seen a lot of people get great job offers from posting their resume online, you can get a good share of job opportunities that don't include "work from home" job offers.

Very good advice! I'm not 50 but I believe that these are some good tips for almost anyone that has a long job history. It's a good reminder about basics that everyone should keep in mind.

I agree. It is important to find a job that interests you, work is a big part of your life and you should enjoy life, hence you should be able to enjoy your work. Finding the right job for yourself should be a top priority.
