Yea, Senator McCains got a temper, but as a Democrat, Clinton supporter and Arizona resident I have full confidence in his ability to be President and exercise intellectual discipline, Its his politics I dislike, plus he's getting up in years so his choice for veep will determine how many independents and fence sitting Dem's he can sway.

I disagree with the premise he was going to be the nominee to begin with but for the issue of the racist pastor, which will be for him what Mary jo was for Ted Kennedy so many years ago, in fact his entire campaign now is really about rehabilitation enough to be Senator Clinton's Veep and I think John Edwards is waiting in the wings for that spot

In so much as I am a Clinton supporter let me offer a fair and balanced observation in line with the tone of the current GOP smear against Senator Obama that Rob is again direct on point with.

If you read the entire article, his people focused on the white female vote in a seven candidate race where he had little hope of victory,

There is a deep unspoken fear amongst most white male republicans, though I expect Republicans like Senator Larry Craig have wet dreams about brother Obama.

Its the fear a Black men make white woman's go all quivery, or pitter patter which is a direct line by the way about a seventy year old woman in the article,

Brother Rush touched on it when he attempted on his radio show to invoke the sexual image of a Black man on top of white woman. P.S Burton unlike most republican males harbors no sense of secret fear in respect to a sense of sexual inferiority toward black men,

Still its interesting to observe it in so many republican males of the caucasian persuasion

Yea its kinda ingrained in ya isn't it fellas, Your Daddies and Grand Daddies all worried about it, the archetypal field buck pleasing your women in ways that shall we say nature left you a bit under equipped for, just pop a couple Viagra son and make up for your short comings with endurance.

As to the smear itself, it may have legs for a week or two but what will convince the rank and file democrat that Hillary is the best choice is her electability in the fall

You would agree that we often disagree which makes my observation you hit the nail on the head an accurate reflection of the middle of the mine field, I just listened to CNN 360 as he attempted to explain away the you tube vids of his close advisor and spiritual leader cursing the Republic and laying condemnation on the white people for all the problems blacks and Barack suffer, going to be really difficult avoiding the splatter on this one

Good work, but really the whole game comes down to Florida, The Republicans not the rank and file Democrats played wise with moving up the Primary date,

When the average democratic voter is made aware of this, Senator Obama and CNN's attempt to pettifog the issue will be exposed for what it is,

sour grape politicking which is fine and dandy but the dog wont hunt for long

The Race is over short of a heart attack, Hillary Rodam Clinton will be the Next President,

If Barack can pull his head out of the clouds, he should focus on locking up the veep spot, and lets not forget people, I was a Joe Biden supporter when the season started and I am just telling ya all the way it's going to be, no need to flame the messenger

Really now, the race not even half over, a hundred or so delegate separating the two contenders and David offers a post , Should Hillary drop out?

Its a good article and I gave you a ten for expression and Spin,

But the reality is beginning to emerge that while the Senator is a fine man, and with some seasoning will make a great president.

He is still years less experienced than Hillary, and come the convention I fully anticipate she will top the ticket, but should he manage to arrive with more delegates than her I will support him as enthusiastically and I hope his supporters would do the same
for Hillary

Back when FDR was President he sent a bunch of folks out to collect oral history from folks who had grown up under slavery, listen to the first person reflection of African Americana's its a fascinating read
