I'd change one word in Parrot, on the war . . .

In your first stanza, this line . . .

"the season fails to instigate the steel cage." should read "insulate" instead of "instigate".

Hi Renda ~ I'm glad you came back ~ l o l ~ I wanted to tell you that I agree with your words earlier ~ "Too often I have seen (when my daughter was in school) parents not want their children to attend the sex education classes (at her school you had to sign a "release" for the child to attend it & many would not sign it). That saddened me. I don't know how the schools do things now, but I hope parents really think those types of decisions through." ~ Renda

I think that it is very good for children to have sex education classes in school so that are not confused about their bodies, and the proper functions. Why a parent would not allow this is beyond me. As long as children are not being taught about the improper uses of the body, I don't see why a parent wouldn't allow it.

When you say "judge" their sexual preferences, I'm looking at that statement from the standpoint that it IS their business, TRUE, and they should keep it that way. It doesn't need to become my business. And, if it is pushed upon me or anyone else, judging whether it is right or wrong for the particular person listening, watching, or hearing about it -- who has no interest in that behavior is the normal result. To that extent, I think WE all JUDGE.
