What a jerk! As a mom I would say take her to your family doc and have her checked out - I've never trusted ER docs and your story only adds to that sentiment! Poor baby, I hope she gets better soon!

It's always nice to meet people who are friendly and courteous regardless, especially ones on the job. I get so tired of rude people... I understand that some people work long hours and of course everyone has personal issues, some more trying than others, but you're right - it is definately nice to know there are still some nice people out there who don't take their personal problems out on others! Thanks for sharing.

That's a very nice couch and sounds like a really good deal. Personally though, I'm weary of buying furniture any way other than in person, because you have no way of knowing how comfortable it is, and you can't really look at all the features, you just kind of have to go by what the site tells you is there. Shopping for furniture in person is better (to me, anyway, lol) also because you can ask questions. There is a suede type material like Mary mentioned that has become very popular, it's really nice and stain repellant. Unfortunately, I can't remember what it's called.

Maybe you can go "window shooping" for furniture at local furniture stores, so you can ask lots of questions and decide what you want, then maybe you can decide if the sofa you're looking at online is right for you. Good luck!
