This is a nice remembrance. I didn't know about Chana, but then, I've been on and off hiatus from Gather for so long. I loved her writing as much as Rob's. It was always bringing a new light to things. How long ago was this, anyone know?

Seeing as I haven't done much since I've been back, I guess it is fairly good. Matthew, I know. I don't have a paypal account though and am not interested in one....and well I just haven't wanted for anything lately.

I quit looking a long time ago. I last cashed out in June or July of 2008. Right now I have 23,238....and in the couple days I've been back from a hiatus I've made roughly 38 points.

Me too. Unfortunately I only respond to a third of what they send me in emails. I am trying to catch up on my off gather emails but I have over 700 since my latest hiatus from the online world.

I'd like to but as I've said before, I'm not sure they will ever make it. Maybe some day. I always send to dwell on a part of it and rewrite it half a dozen times. All of these stories started as a dream or nightmare that I've dwelled on so I keep relooking them and thinking about them and they never seem to get anywhere. Maybe some day.

I don't really "do" it to the extent some do. I write mostly based on recurring dreams, nightmares, etc. that seem to get stuck in my head unless I write them down. As it turns out some of it is pretty morbid stuff. Most of these stories seem to have promise, but as dreams and nightmares only last a short time, I only write when they bother me. I thought I'd revisit them this month to see if I could furhter advance or finish them so they would be forever out of my head.

I would stop and ask but find it a little strange to walk up to a total strangers' home to ask where they got their lights. I have photos of it on the 2nd page of my other photos section from a year or so ago. It's a work in progress but I'll probably post this years' photos of it if I ever get it put up. I've been mega busy lately.

I can't say if mine jumped or not. I never really paid attention to them much and haven't cashed out since June of 2008. Currently, I have 23,211 points and have only increased by 10 points this week.

I have a 6 foot pink tree that I like, but then I collect those Barbie Ornaments from Hallmark and Collector's Barbie Dolls. I've had it for two years now, and I know finding pink decor is a challenge. It looks nice so far. Every year I get a couple new ornaments and I am currently working on a tree skirt design, and decorations for under the tree. I just wish I knew where people found these entire strands of pink lights that I see everyone decorating with outside, and inside.

Like Bridget I haven't shopped Black Friday in ages...but I know the walmart around here is always open 24 hours and I usually go there late at night/early morning to avoid the kids that hangout there as well as other crowds of people.

Thanks. I designed the original icon keeping in mind that I wanted to get it wrapped with this snowman. It worked out well I think considering I wasn't sure if I had enough of an offset so my face wouldn't be hidden.
