That's uncanny..........a reason for everything whether we know it or not. What you needed when you needed it. Music soothes the soul of the savagest of beasts... I've always said, and truly believe, music has been saving my life since I was about 3. It's always there and there's always something in it that just 'gets' it
One I wouldn't have thought I'd ever find something of theirs to relate to, but it was there, (all genres have their amazing ones) was by Karen Carpenter. One excerpt for you: "I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world.......and fool enough to think that's what I'll find...................I'm wide awake at 4am without a friend in sight.....and hangin' on a hope, but I'm allright."

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this Scott, it means so much and you are helping so many of us. I can only hope that somehow helps you through this, knowing how appreciated your letting us know of Rob and his passing........that you were such a loving friend to him.......and that you are helping others as Rob had always done by sharing your loss and pain.
I loved him too................as one of mine own.

Oh, Scott, I am soo very sorry, I had no idea and never dreamed. I'd been missing him so and now my heart just aches.. I was worried about him, sent him something and heard nothing, I thought his Gather silence was protest and anger with the new rules and I was respecting that though readying his Thanksgiving cookies for the post. This is such a shock. God bless you and yours and thank you so very much for posting this, you were such a blessing to him and he loved you as much as any human can love another. You gave him so much, and with the Shim, he needed her, they needed each other. My deepest.................

I think it's possible for something to go horribly wrong in that manner. Would be a great 'tool' for terrorism as well, a virus planted and gone undetected, who knows what it could do?

They are just so sweet and cute, more every day, melt my heart away!!
That's the thing Carol, nobody allowed them and though they are in our 'space', they are not in the house. Jumped on my balcony to give birth. Smokey and I both weren't exactly thrilled that she did at the time, but the family has certainly grown on us both. They're so freaking cute! Smokey is just perplexed at his not being allowed there anymore and raring to get out there! I just don't know A) if he'd be gentle or not bother the babies and B) just how the feral mom may react to him without the screen between, and not so sure she wouldn't harm him, either physically or perhaps pathologically. Typical mom I am I know, but you get it I have no doubt!
