I absolutely agree with you because HIPAA rules only allow so much to be discussed even without the name being mentioned. Maybe at the beginning of each report make a continual mention that this is all hypothetical and this person does not exist (similar to the first moment on Law & Order ;) )

I think you did a wonderful job on the report above, and it's probably best to play as we go.

Oh, wait I do have to take back 1 item "Terrorists never kill again"

Frequently in Israel when a terrorist does one of their bombing attempts the ambulances are sent out and everyone is rushed to the hospital. Recently, a female suicide bomber failed her attempt and was sent to Haddasah Hospital who saved her. Next step? After she is d/c'd from the hospital she returns a week later and attempts to blow up the hospital that saved her.

The jist? If we continue to save and defend them and give them another chance, this is how they change their ways in gratitude. They take their terrorism up a notch.

The film definitely sounds similar to the rise of Islam the only slight deviation is that the terrorists never live to kill again. After years of preparation, they do a quick destruction of themselves and the people around them to ensure immediate meeting with their maker and the virgin paradise to which they are sent. (Little do they know that the 70 virgins are actually a nursing home full of elderly ladies)

In terms of the ending, if we fulfill TS Elliot's poem "Hollow Man" then it will end "not with a bang but a whimper"

This is a great plan, and being that she is outpatient this has a better chance of plateau. Is her husband active in her program? Is he cognitively in tact as well? Anomia is the ickiest monster to deal with and truly is the crystal ball of someone's cognitive level as well. Crossword puzzles are always a good start but also the "fill in the blank" game where the therapist acts as though they have forgotten the word and subtly cues the subject to get the word. Visuals visuals visuals. It's the best way to retrieve a word.

True it is in bad taste to mock the murder of a child, but they are murdering their children on a daily basis and teaching them to murder as well through the act of suicide bombing.

I honestly wish that there were any feasable suggestion to stop these arbitrary homicides from continuing to destroy the world piece by piece.

On the day that the Koran is reworded and Islam is NOT intending to kill all infidels then all is well. For now, I think people ought to carefully read the Koran and understand just how global and indiscriminate the term "Infidel" is. If not, then go beyond September 11th and weigh the percentage of terrorist actions from Islamists as opposed to any other terrorist group. They have no respect for life whatsoever and train their children about the beauty of being martyrs. Here they are at age 3 already saying they want to be martyrs for their higher power. Do I think they should all be killed? No. There are several in hiding who want out and these are the people we should try to help. The others that want to kill us and them are another story. The same way Moussaui wanted us to kill him so he could be an indirect martyr for 9/11, death is a gift. Education is a slander. Heck several people are converting and wanting to embrace Islamic ways, they must want those 70 virgins.

I was really appalled when I heard about this, but at the same time I also was debating if she were bold or simply out of her mind to do something like that in a place like Sudan. Elvis is good although they might find a way to take offense because it's an American Prophet whose dancing was too suggestive ;) Maybe Jason or Freddy would work better =)

Ditto, John. Although I did find a few of Gene's comments funny or valid, I believe that society needs both sides in order to exist: Religion to keep people in check and Science for understanding/progress. Besides, the person who can prove either non-existent could start a cult that would end Reno-style but be a multi-billionaire in the process. From my experince people can quote both sides ad-nauseam, but I have yet to see a true scientist (Scientology doesn't count ;) ) try to start their own scheme of a religious following .. they are not out to get religion the last time I checked.

There are millions of types of diets and anti-pharmacy medicines out there, and I have yet to see a success story to any of their claims. There is one diet I saw for autisitc kids where they ate tiger meat and other such oddities, and the cognitive improvement results were minimal and possibly more along the line of placebo effect. Y'know, maybe in another world other species are poaching human ears as a delicacy which is the karma that these pirates deserve (or worse).

Yeah, you're right about the "Everyone's an Infidel" approach, that's the easiest way to get support for their intentions. I guess we're lucky that Admedajad didn't get a hold of him because although he was married and had a child (or wife was pregnant), they would have killed him based on a accusation that he was gay. I didn't realize that Pearl's wife was a journalist as well. Court orders from the CIA & Justice Dept? Was that because of his hostage situation or for a previous issue?

As horrified as I was about what happened to Daniel Pearl, I somehow could not support this film because from what I heard it appeared to minimize all terrorist occurences and somehow blame USA ending in a "Couldn't we all get along" way. I hope that what I was told was not right, but at the same time these were 5 different reviews that left me guessing that this was made with a similar view as "Munich".

Kudos to you because you did beat an internal enemy! The nature of everyone is to want what cannot be obtained; achievable goals are good because they prove that one can get what they want, yet at the same time some may find that boring. The greater the challenge, the greater the interest.

This is not minimizing that your nature interests had to be acquired from a different perspective vs actually being able to work with animals, but the main thing is that you have succeeded in resolving the situation and possibly achieved more then you would have in what initially was considered the "ideal situation". Sometimes the biggest challenge everyone faces is a fencing match against themself. Admiration is always better than envy ;)
