I think some of his earlier work is his best - movies like Peggy Sue Got Married, Raising Arizona and Moonstuck. But if you're sitting at home on a Sunday afternoon looking for an entertaining movie on TNT, The Rock, Con Air, and Face Off are always fun.

The Boston Mayoral race is a big one. Current mayor, Thomas Menino is battling Michael Flaherty, current City Councilor and former City Council President. If re-elected Menino would serve his 5th term, the first mayor to do so in Boston's history.

I've raced around Boston and Chicago all week trying to get a regular flu shot before going on vacation and everywhere I went they were sold out. Looks like it's up to Vitamin C and Purell. I keep thinking this is more hype then reality and then they announced 900 students - over half - called in sick at St. Charles High School outside Chicago.

Just saw that Falcon (the balloon boy) was found alive hiding in his attic. It's great to see a happy ending to this story.

I love the Salem Witch museum. I actually found it scary when I went there as a kid but always take out of town guests there. They have a show that goes through the history of the witch trials.

Hi d d. I actually grew up here and my family is here. But I just moved back a couple of years ago to start work at Gather. Growing up, I lived north of Boston so we spent our summers on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Hi Janet. It's funny how we never think of being tourists in our own cities. But the Citypass is a great idea. I know we definitely have something like that here. I actually live a few blocks from the Boston Museum of Science and I haven't been there in about 10 years - and it's a really great museum.

The economy definitely changed my plans.  Instead of going away on a week-long trip like I usually do, I joined Community Boating in Boston (a much cheaper option) and plan to spend my summer (and vacation week) sailing on the Charles.  And for moms and dads out there, the sailing program for children only costs $1.00 for the entire summer and includes lessons and free use of all the boats, kayaks and wind surfers.
