Thanks, Richard, I appreciate the compliment.
I haven't changed my name, just acquired a business name--which the County Clerk's office calls an Assumed Name. Why? I don't know. It's a government office--I bet they don't know either.
And I confess to ignorance regarding "ping" (amongst many other things) and what it means or how to do it. You're talking to someone who failed Ticket Machine Use.

LS looks like it mass produces books for other publishers--not like POD for individuals. There's also Trafford, which Writer's Digest touts, and they also have written about Lulu. When I say legit, I mean good quality, etc.

My condolences on the loss of your dad, Christine. Your story & your pain hit home with me. My father-in-law died of pancreatic cancer five years ago; I was closer to him than my own dad. Priorities certainly changed when he became ill; and I purged my belongings after he died. What was the point of having so much "stuff?" For the last 15 months he was with us, I wrote stories about our adventures together. Compiling the stories into a manuscript helped get me through the grieving process.
Congrats on getting your book published--I'll check it out.
