Thank you for directing me here today, Kathryn. Interesting information and important. I am a new user of Facebook, but I am finding it very good for my Photography...excellent networking. The major reason I like it is I am only connected with people I know...therefore, I trust it more. It is not so wide open as I felt Gather is. Plus I like how 'open' it is...people are themselves on there, without hiding behind alters and such. Feels better for me and I have found it to be an excellent networking tool with my Photography...pretty amazing!

my very favorite. I love the self-portrait, which also tells so much about you and what you do. The girl smiling at you is the world's reaction to you...so it encompasses all...you, work work, the world around you...good job.

I biked at Nisqually near there, and Black Diamond, near Auburn...where I did an end-o with about 25 people watching! then I cracked my upper lip over at Alki after going over the handlebars and had to have 11 stitches at Valley Medical Center near Renton...ah, fun times!

New York Times borrow $250 million at 14 percent interest from wealthy Mexican investor

We are a fair-sized publishing area with many magazines...many are folding.

In my neighborhood, which is fairly prosperous, there are many "Lease" signs on large houses.

My friend's daughter owns a nice home in a nice neighborhood...she is about to lose it and she and her family will live in their Airstream trailer.

I was in a major chain grocery store yesterday and could not believe the empty shelves I saw...shelf stock is way down.
