it means that things suck. It's already taking this from that, hoping bills don't get shut off and the food lasts. prices keep going up though, so now it's eat once a day instead of twice, don't volinteer to work extra hours because you don't have the money for gas to get there for you sceduled time if you do. Thats what it means.

cookies in a jar- take an old canning jar, measure in all the dry ingredients for cookies, include a recipie card (saying what else they need - like 2eggs or whatever, how to mix it if theres any particular order, and how long at what temp. to bake it). Tie a nice ribbon around it, make sure the jar is tighlty sealed. Cheep and easy, and everyone likes cookies!

I feel like whineing about people who don't give a thought to anyone else. Ok, so I'm like REALLY pregnant, like having the kid on the 20th of this month. Todays payday, and theres nothing to eat at all at home (we havn't went shopping in over a month). We're supposed to go grocery shopping, but I'm having contractions really freaking bad, again. So in addition to having the OI, and even when I'm not preggers having trouble walking and all that because of my ankle and my back, I'm preggers, so those problems are even worse. I can barly walk at all now, and some days can't, but I still make myself. With these contractions though, I can't barly even focus on a thought let along walk. Yet we have no food at all, and we need to have food. So we go to giant eagle to pick up a couple tv dinners. I hate tv dinners, and feel horrilbe about buyingt them, and this is actually the first time in appx 1yr and 6 months we've purchased any. So anyways, I somehow manage to get from the car (parked in the fourth parking spot) to the door without ended up on the ground, even though it was a huge struggle. So I get on one of the electronic carts. Because no matter how much pain I'm in, we need to eat, so we have to get something. People were looking at me though, like so disaproveing. It ticks me off! You don't know me, you don't know my life. Just because I'm young dosn't mean I don't have any reasons that qualify me for using those electronic carts. Oh, I just wanted to go off on some of those people. ARG.

Before I got pregnant, I quit going out when I was hurt. Why? Because I often was, with the OI (brittle bones), and walmart is the only all purpose store that has electronic carts. If I couldn't manange the pain enough to walk, I didn't have a choice except going to walmart. Well, they usually gave me a hassle, but I rode on one of them carts. Except one time, I couldn't get to it to unplug it from the wall, so I needed to ask for help. They refused. I ended up throwing a fit. I needed to get TP and a couple other neccessitys. I couldn't walk/hobble though the store to do so. For whatever reason hubby didn't come in that time (I think we had limited time and more things to do and he went to run another errand while I was in there). But freaking head honcho at walmart (if I didn't get anywhere with one person, i kept asking for higher ups until I evenually got the big boss) wouldn't unplug the darn cart so I could use it. I'm young, so I don't need it. Even though my ankle was in a brace and bandages and all that, and I had a pamplet about the OI, they didn't want to hear it, I didn't need the cart, cause I would just be fooling around on it and taking it from someone who could actually use it. They ended up calling the cops on me because while I was talking to them, someone else needed help getting it, and they went and unplugged it for her. A lady,older then me, but not old, but who was like 600 lbs. Walked in the store perfectally fine, shes just fat and its easyer for her to ride a cart then to not stuff her face (she actually stopped, still in my line of site, to get a thing of donuts, and proceded to open them and eat them before putting the box in her cart). So I refuse to shop at walmart. Because just because I'm young (and look younger then I am), even though I have a disabaility, I don't need to ride in a cart to do my shopping, even though I couldn't walk/hobble more then a couple steps, and could barly move? Oh, I totally went off on them, expeshally since they decided for themselfsthat I didn't need one, but a person with nothing wrong with them other then being overweight did. I was ticked, and yes, I know that was her only problem because I stopped her and asked her, since she was obviously so much more in a worse condition then me since she needed a cart.

It's been so long though, since I went out regularly, that I forgot why it was I stopped going to walmart.

Even though I didn't have a problem doing my shopping today, at giant eagle, other then the tramendis pain. Peoples dirty looks and comments reminded me. Who is anyone else to judge someone else?

I know I totally went off and wrote a bunch here. Am I going to become a housebound hermit or something? Soon I'll have my daughter, and even if I'm able to somewhat walk when I'm hurt, you can't hobble on crutches (and fall alot because your good ankle is too weak to support everything) and carry a baby. And walmart won't fit my needs (I've never liked that store anyways and only ever went when I had no choice) . I'm so glad my husband is around. I don't know what I would do without him. I never relised before how much I depend on him though.

I can't become a hermit, I just can't. I need to get myself taken care of. And like my friend says, I need to quit being stubborn, it's killing my body.

If your used to having long fingernails, you know how to be careful with them, so there is no problem. There is only a problem when your not used to having them, and you do, so then you have a better chance of doing something you shouldn't with them. That's why most women, for the majority of their life, have either long or short nails, because that's what they're used to.
