I do agree with Wright that Obama is being political. And most politicians in my estimation speak out of both sides of the mouth and their rear at the same time. I would desire to see one that is for real and a people not into idol worship of a man or resorting to dirty tactics/words that destroy. Shoot the ACLU and others would be screaming bloody murder if it was any other situation where someone's suppose character was being defamed.
At one time I did have some hope Bush might be a man of integrity who stood solidly on biblical principles but now he has layed down to political games as much as anyone has.
Of course our media has to report news so if that means beautifying it a lot for newsworthiness then it makes it even more nasty looking for everyone.
I am learning to look carefully at the information coming at me. No time in history has it been even harder to believe anyone in government and media. Not that the dirtiness of politics has not always been there. Seems it brings out the baseness in most and wonder how our founding fathers dealt with it. We see such a distortion of the principles they brought forth. Like they are not modern enough or keeping with the times we live in or something.

Thanks for your encouragement. I am so glad this encouraged you as well.I have missed everyone and look forward to posting more now. I have become a bit more radical and brave these days so hope I don't offend anyone. I do tend to antagonize by posting on my other sites sometimes but hope to not judge or hurt anyone. I do try to maintain a good sense of humor.

Prayer for finances to come in. After my accident I am having to regroup and begin again with my business. I have a friend helping but need to have things really turn around.
I am supposed to move to Israel in summer and need to be self supporting by then.

The best day of my life was meeting the love of my life. After being almost killed from abuse from an ex spouse I did not think I could trust or be in a relationship again.

Thanks for letting us know Marilyn. I am sorry for your loss. You sound brave when you share but yet is has to be grief unspeakable. I have lost so many in my family to alcoholism and no, they don't tell folks the consequences.Any way, I am lifting you.
