As for the first two - I've been asking myself the same things, coming up with not answers. Nader? I really don't think he will be a factor this time around. There are already too many divisive issues as it is.

Great article. I've worked with some schizophrenics, very interesting people. I always enjoyed it in a perverse way. I guess being mentally ill myself they fascinated me (by the grace of God go I?)

Its been raining a lot, but when it isn't I walk 45 minutes a day. When I don't I definately notice a difference in my mood.

What kind of classes are you looking for? I am working on my Master's degree through Texas Christian University a Princeton rated university. Phoenix and Walden, while very "business like" do offer a good education to a point, it depends on what you want out of it. Be wary of universities that give you credit for "life experience" Look up a university in the Princeton Review (I forget the web address, sorry). There are a lot out there. I love working online, it fits my lifestyle perfectly.

Oh, Lonnie. If these people could ever understand what they did to you. They doubled your problems. You now have a whole other set of circumstances to deal with. Brain chemistry and what I call situational depression. That one person let alone this many people could say such things is beyond me. Just keep telling yourself, its not your fault, your ancestors (except for what ever genes they passed down, and they could hardly help that) fault, or anyone else's. Its how your brain works. You pulled the short straw. You are exactly right, these are the people that make us keep our illnesses secret (well not me, I tell anyone. Hey you putting the price stickers on the canned corn - I'm bipolar! just thought you might want to know!)

No comment from the paper. There was one other letter about it, but it wasn't funny. Well, they might have thought it was, but it was just a few sentences about the printing press needing therapy as well. But, then who am I the Queen of Humor?

I read this yesterday. And yes it must be devestating to the family, I mean I can't even imagine. But, she died at was probably at the happiest moment of her life. They can take some comfort from that can't they eventually?

You explained it very eloquently. I don't get pestered with the church part being Jewish, we handle things a little differently, but the rest right on the nose.
And yes, we have illnesses that can't be shown to others on a x-ray, or catscan, therefore people brush them away as not "real" illnesses.

I'm going to stand back and wait and see what people have to say about this. Know I'm on your side, because I'm 100% on your side. (I've actualy seen Lucy at the La Brea Tar Pits in LA, you can't really argue against it when you've seen it!) The only other thing I have to say about it is , Umm...duh.
