The odd thing about this story is the fact that I've got a setting first with no plot or characters. Usually I get a vague one-line plot and a mess of characters first and have to world build later.

It was a regular Razor. I lucked out with the photo. I was taking it through one of the holes in the side of the carrier while we were in the car driving home. It was brilliantly sunny that day so the light just filtered in from the windshield of the car and the windows on both sides.

Terrible. I'd have probably gotten up or said something. But the wimp that I am the moment Burly set his eyes on me I probably would've backed down.

Good for the woman who called the cops, though. I hope the guy gets some sort of punishment for it.

Oh wow, those are lovely new covers. I do like the artist's style for them. It makes the books a lot more appealing from a new-reader perspective. Even though I'd read them if their covers were blank brown paper.

Good suggestions.
My only note is on the accent thing. I think it's okay to have one or two words that are spelled phonetically when the character in question speaks. I've always preferred that to a full phonetic spelling or just mentions of the accent. I think it's kind of the best of both. Because they're not saying those words in every line but it's a little reminder to the reader.

334 currently. A bit miffed at the moment though, I got a point update email from Gather that said you only need 300 points for a $10 giftcard/whatever. It is not the case. Just found it odd.
Saving up fro a borders card myself. I'm a book addict.

I donno. I kinda lost momentum while writing. It just bothers me they're bringing something in that they ruined the first time around and pretending it's innovative.
