I have to be the bad guy here. I must admit the article was well written. However, i dont agree with it. When Al sharpton said that Michael broke down racial barriers I honestly believe he was right. I did some research and I found out that even there were black persons before him that were in the entertainment business none of them recieved the attention. Michael Jackson was the first black person to have a video on MTV. Today for younger generations this sounds impossible because MTV now plays a variety of african-american music. I feel he was able to garner acceptance for blacks in saying 'hey look at me am black and I can sing, I can dance!" Some of those "geniuses" I read about in this article I have never heard about. That proves how great Michael was. How many aritsts can claim that they rose to the top and though they have had moments when their world turns upside down they still stay at the top?If those musicians were geniuses their music would have been more popular. Would have had a larger impact on people. I am not saying that he has not has his share of problems but He IS THE KING OF POP! His music to some might not be as enjoyable but to the masses it is. Calling him a clown is almost like saying all his hard work was for nothing. If Michael was the clown of mediocrity then we have yet to see someone who can top him and lets face it- that is saying alot about musical culture- for him to have gotten so far up means that he wasn't.

Secondly He had a skin disease! How many people today can claim that if he or she were able to save the lives of their loved ones dying they wouldnt? His disease would have caused him many other problems and I think in the begining he did what he felt was right. He never once came out and said that he hated being black or he hated black people. His whole family is black for crying out loud! As a child Jackson's voice was beautiful! And that comment was down right racial to me comparing those days of his singing with days of slavery. From that comment it would seem that no one liked his singing then. However people did. In a world where everyone is equal the color of skin of the person we marry shouldn't matter. He himself sang "And I Told About Equality An It's True Either You're Wrong Or You're Right" I thought the days where persons were judged by the color of their skin were over but am wrong. You can't choose who you love, love chooses for you. I couldnt say it any better than Michael did in the same song "But, If You're Thinkin' About My Baby It Don't Matter If You're
Black Or White. Don't Tell Me You Agree With Me When I Saw You Kicking Dirt In My Eye. But, If You're Thinkin' About My Baby It Don't Matter If You're Black Or White"

Does that sound like a man who hates black people?

Michael dancing was different and up to this day though many people may try to dance like him there is no way they can put the same love, effort and all into it and it look the same. He was one of a kind. In a world where things change rapidly because of increasing globalization I have found that his dances no matter what the era or generation are still HOT! They have yet to fade out and die slow painful deaths.

Who do you think should be blame for lowered expectations of teachers? Look back into history and see if you get my gist. At one point blacks were thought to be imbeciles, incapable of doing anything under their own steam. The fact that teachers praise mediocrity in black students is no fault of the race but of history's perverted eternal hand. Today some white people cannot achieve half the intelligence some blacks have.

I think dreams do have meanings. If you look back into the bible when Joseph interpreted Pharoah's-i think- dreams they came to pass, 7 years of plenty, 7 years of famine. That was God's way of talkin to pharoah.
On the other hand at times when things happen we seem to feel as if we have already lived that moment, what is popularly known as "de ja vu". I believe that some of these moments that we have seen already are parts of dreams we have had.
Dreams are said to be bits and pieces of or daily lives that the subconcious stores up and puts together and we end up havin some really wierd dreams.
Sometimes in dreams we see things from another's point of view and this helps us handle a situation a bit differently, or solve problems that were thought to be impossible.
