Creative, although I myself do not care for the last paragraph because of the mindset that many Pastors do have which is to feed the flock before their family. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Feed your family (spiritually and with attention) then feed the flock. I say it in love.

I just received my Borders gift cards last week. I was really happy about that. Nice to belong to a site that actually keeps it's word. So it's 3000 for $50 gift card? I'd like more Borders gift cards. I have my eye on some more books I'd really love to buy.

I like so many it's hard to decide which is my favorite. The one that comes to mind right now is "Though I walk through the valley of death, I shall fear no evil". That tells me that no matter how bad it might seem at the time, God is still with me and I don't have to fear, as He will take care of me.

Great article Shelly. It's amazing how God loved us so much while we were still yet sinners and unworthy of His love, yet He loved us so much to give His only begotton son so we could be forgiven and our relationship restored with Him.

Thanks Shelly for your input. We all have to be decerning. There are laws set up for our benefit. Some things we haven't quite grasped fully. Once upon a time everyone thought the world was flat. When someone said it was round, many felt it was a lie. The same with other discoveries. We are learning more and more about the world around us everyday.

Thanks for the link Carmen. I assume it didn't work though, as all I seen were a lot of naked butts. hahaahha

It's okay if you dont' care to be aware of The Law Of Attraction. It's there weather you want to use it towards your advantage or not. I'm not here to defend it. I've found it useful in my own life and thus I enjoy sharing it.

Thanks Carmen for the link. I read about what Pat Robertson had to say about The Secret. While there are a couple of the teachers I do not agree with in The Secret, I still feel that it holds some very useful truth that even as Christians we can use. Robertson as far as I'm concerned isn't 100% on the dot either, with his oil money investments, Africa. etc. But it's easy to pick bones. Over all CBN has a lot of good things going for it. The Secret really isn't anything new. It's a way of understanding how to obtain what you want or need.
Chicken Soup for the Soul creator Jack Canfield I believe by his books he has cowritten have touched many souls for the good also.
