Larry M. - Not that I can prove it, but I doubt very much that 80% of every dollar taken in by insurance companies goes back out to providers of health care. Surely forty percent of every dollar they take in goes towards insurance's "company expenses."

John Galt was an engineering genius who grew tired of having corporate and government fat cats living high and easy by skimming the milk and cream off of others work.

John Galt was not anti-government. He was anti excessive and abusive bureaucrats.

Mwahahahaha - We are such an unbelievably long way from having that happen in this country that the notion we are approaching that place is completely and utterly ludicrous.

Poor Mr. and Mrs. Millionaire. They have to cough up 25% of their multi-million dollar income and only live on the remaining multi-millions. Those poor babies.

I'm pretty disgusted with the way this health care reform has been handled.

If the reform was really about helping individuals, rather than accommodating companies, then the drug makers and insurance folks wouldn't even be at the table.

The one thing that I know for sure will come out of this hullabaloo is a law requiring EVERYONE to BUY an insurance policy. For all the ranting about "free" markets and no government interference, what the capitalists really want is government to force consumerism on the entire citizenry. Bleh!!

This reminds me of how the 43rd administration was going to let a Saudi Arabian company manage all of our ports. That move was a real kick in the head seeing as how the majority of the 9/11 perpetrators had been Saudi nationals.

Please let me know when/if you link to some hard evidence, or at least some less emotional reporting about this China connection.

Seems like a sketchy scientific name, though. Oh well. Leave it to the scientific community to come up with a wonky name for some behavior that is both harmless and childlike.
