Hi Seth,
I can relate and I also fully agree. I am a single mom and have two children...maybe I am a small fraction ahead of others in that although I love my children without measure, I was able to let them go on their own journey without interuption. It has been hard, especially as one of them chose the military and I saw him off to war twice.

Having said that, I don't think I will really ever be able to unattach completely from them...somedays I wish I could...but they are the heart and soul of who I am.

My son served in both Afghanistan and Iraq. He is 23 years old and just suffered a massive heart attack (it has been 5 months). He just came over to tell me the good news that his doctors have given him return to work papers. He was on the job training to become a police officer when he had the attack. We are all so pleased. There were days we wondered what would become of him...It is all good....and I just gave him a hug and a kiss.

Thanks for posting this. The soldiers have been through a lot. We still do not know the cause of his heart attack...but I often wonder if it is related to his time in the military.

God speaks to me in many different ways...sometimes I DO hear a message in words. Other times it is through a song I hear, something someone says, or a sign I have asked for.

If you knew anything about that region before our invasion....you knew it was about oil. It has always been about oil and greed and more money for certain "people". It makes me sick to my stomach. Everytime I see a huge gas guzzling car or a home three times the size of what could be needed, I want to scream and let that person know they are part of this war.

I have very strong opinions and I feel I have the right to speak them loudly, for my son has been to Iraq...he proudly served this country....and I am proud of him. Not for the wars he has fought in, but for his unquestionable dedication to serve this country no matter what they ask of him.

Before our invasion, I would tell anyone who would listen, that this was about oil. Iraq has NOTHING to do with what happened on 9/11...that is a whole different bees nest.

All I ask of people is to open their minds to the truth...it is no secret anymore. Vote accordingly...and when you go to turn up your heat so YOU can be more comfortable...think of the soldiers...think of the mothers who have lost their children...think of me...my son is forever changed....and go put on a warmer sweater.

This is not always easy for fear can be overwhelming but I do it anyway. I believe you can have it all. I have changed my life 360%. If I might add, since you brought it up..the God thing...instead of making the decisions in your life...have you asked God? I teach the concept of spiritual surrender...it is about creating the life that God would have for you...instead of the life you think might work. I am not doing a very great job of describing the process...if you e-mail me...I can help.

FYI...this is not about religion...it is about letting go

I am new at this and don't really "get" how it all works. I guess I need to do some studying.

I also do work with angels and what are called angel numbers....you posted your first post at 2:22---means "don't quit before the miracle occurs".

My son served in both Afganistan and Iraq. He is a civilain now. I remember when he first deployed, someone used to send me the DOD casualty list. It would make me FLIP OUT...I just could not bare to see it.

It still hurts so deeply to see the names...to know we are loosing soldiers everyday. To even contemplate the grief of so many. I pray for peace. I pray for the families of these soldiers.

Keep posting....we need to know that HUMAN BEINGS are dying there...needless deaths.
