The difference is, some of the items weren't gifts for the daughter inlaw but items the daughter bought for her mother who died before she had a chance to wear them. Then, the 'hussie' took the receipt and the clothes and return them to the store. After that she started eBaying anything else she could get her hands on from the estate while the daughter was geographically separated and taking care of the widower father.

Dean,

A thousand curses on you. I came to this page out of my love for your work and curiousity over your new book. Instead of that I find that I am not as unique as I thought I was. You have legions of fans who love animals, rescue animals, and connect with your work. I'm one of those people too and the knowledge of that ruins everything. Thanks. I guess I'll have to go buy your book and cheer myself up.

I wouldn't say that Pakistan has more beautiful mountains...but some of the most interesting photos I've take have been over Pakistan. Now that I have a better camera, I'd like to go back to both Pakistan and some of the National Parks in the west...especially the Grand Canyon. I'm jealous of all your adventures.

I enlisted right after the Gulf War. My brother served in the Army during the war. My dad (Army) and stepdad (Marines) were both veterns and several of my uncles also served (Navy). Grandpa was a patriot and I saw the Air Force as a noble way out of my current life. I also saw it as a stable future. Excitement...adventure...travel. Those were part of it too. Now that I'm half way to retirement, why do I stay in? Despite the frequent deployments, it's still a good life. It supports my family, and I like what I do. Whether I'm flying or doing office work, I'm proud of my work. I don't know that I would have the same job satifaction. The Air Force has been good to me, I'm not ready to give it up yet. Quite frankly, I'm scared to get a real job.

Nancy, I was about 5 feet away. It got pretty close, but I had to zoom to get the detail. I also cropped it to an APS portrait proportion. The original was landscape view. I thought the tall dimensions added more drama. Unfortunately, it was resized larger upon uploading....the effect is better when you can see the whole picture at once (without scrolling). I just love the transparency through the wings.
