I had typed : My question is why anyone would waste his time, actually listening to Pat Robertson. Then I realized I just got sucked into the same thing. But I won't again. Well, not until the next time I decide to get sucked into a total time waster. It appalls me that people like him make a living because people like us (although not ususally me, just today) give his stupid promouncements any of our consideration.

I see this as LIFE shaping us---we start blank and soft, and growing, then harden, and it takes trauma to force us out of our hard mold into a less cluttered version. Then as with all life, we end, so the cycle can continue after us.

Im listening to meditataion music. Goes very well with your geese. When I saw the thumbprint, I was hoping it was a this year's photo, showing that some geese are finding a living on Atlanta lakes. This draught is scarey. There is a pond near my house, that had a family of five ducks. All summer there has been one lonely duck hanging around. The pond is basically a mud puddle. Yesterday I saw he had attracted four friends. So at least he's not lonely anymore, but there pond isn't going to protect them if I doesn't get bigger.

Hey Kate. I've been running all over the countryside like a mad woman. This is the first I've sat at the c except for checking email in forever. The video is no great art---I just wanted to see if I could make it work. The brown dog (Daphne is mine), the white belongs to my daughter.

I am so enjoying your articles. I had my first trip to the Barter this year. They were doing "Oliver" that day. Also had lunch at the Martha Washington. Abington is a neat town. I like that whole strip of I-81. Neat towns all along it. And one can hop up to the Blue Ridge parkway from about anywhere.
