Do you just put a pretty ribbon around the lid or do you put it over the seal and under the ring and let it drape out under the ring? Thanks for your help.

Thanks a bunch! No, you wouldn't have to do both the pressure cooker and the boiling bath but I agree with you, unless we find a good deal on a pressure canner then we are going to have to freeze. Thanks for going to that trouble! Thanks for the blog too.

I jsut read one article that said do not bath it but only pressure can is in a pressure cooker. I don't have a pressure cooker so I am in a "pickle".

Oh that sounds so neat! I like to embroidery too and I love to crochet but computer does interfere doesn't it LOL. I love that idea, I may try to use some of it if that is ok. Thanks for sharing.

Did you embroidery neat pictures on the burlap or just put their names on them? Did you put a trim around the top? Tell me all about it it if you don't mind?
