The Center for Defense of Free Enterprise is funded by Boise Cascade (largest lumber company in the US), a consortium of sawmills, Dupont agricultural division(chemical solutions to every problem) - and was set up under the auspices of Dick Cheney.

Many Senate votes are not on the record -expecially for an under-decretary like this one.

It's hard to believe that ignorant conspiracy theorists really want to return to the days when the Bush administration gave away the nation's oil - they "forgot" to collect the lease payments for using public land.

Clinton was attacked in the same way for founding Americorps.
Now the program is too popular with state government to be killed - even when GWB tried to end it.

There is a huge problem with new college graduates being unable to find jobs. This sounds like a good idea.

I don't support mandatory youth service, however. Too much like the draft.

Two dollars a night was a lot of money to many people in the thirties. This was not a cheap hotel.

There are some good ideas here, about asking your doctor for samples or looking into patient assistance programs.

I think adult children who live at home should contribute toward household expenses.

These cars are really remarkable, Peter.
We have an antique car show in this area each year, and some Model Ts are still running.

I have never ridden in one, but my husband has.
