Yes, I agree. I believe that almost everyone is a "victim" of something/someone at least once in their life. Ideally, they learn from it and move on. The problem is when they continue to be a victim. I think some people are just too lazy to pull themselves up, get help, "confront the enemy," whatever, and move on to a better circumstance. It takes time --and effort-- but in most cases it is possible to do. Instead, they would rather stay where they are and use it as their "excuse." *** BTW, have a great trip and drink a margarita for me.

I love a good egg salad, and I'm always looking for a way to add a little zip. Instead of using sweet pickles, I'll add chopped dills. Or sometimes a little bit of dill weed. Celery seed is good in it, too.

You are not understanding what he is saying. He does not agree with "Obama" politics, and a lot of people don't. Most of what I have heard come out of our new president's mouth are socialistic ideas -- very liberal ideas -- things that will bring much of our free enterprise system to a halt. I don't want socialism in this country. Limbaugh is not the worst this nation has; I can think of worse. And as far as Al Franken goes, I get a headache when I think of the guy, and to put the title 'Senator' in front of his name, well, it just seems wrong. --- If Obama has his way, Rush and the other conservative talk [radio] programs will go away, anyway. When/if that happens, then you won't have to worry about it any longer. (But the iff that happens, you will have much bigger things to worry about!)

I never quite understood why we do that to one another. Experience has shown me that nothing is gained by the act. We all know that no one is perfect, so why point it out? When we edify others we also edify ourselves by association. I heard it said once that we should treat our family as friends and our friends as family.

Good information. I don't use Tylenol/acetaminophen products often because they don't work well for me (except Tylenol for sinus/allergies--it's great). BUt I do find myself reaching for my ibuprofen (Advil) more often then I probably should. I have been backing off, though, because I have found that overuse takes away from the product's effectiveness. Thank you for the well thought-out, well written article.
