In a Republic, that's the People. If the People are not in control it's because they've abdicated their responsibilities. They keep quiet during torture, wiretapping, abuse of fellow citizens, and roll-ups to pre-emptive wars. If the People are lazy and forget they are the president's Commander-In-Chief -- then there's no use whining about it later. After all, the People is the only group that can fight for freedom; the military can only fight for territory and borders.

Well, if the Christians really want to get rid of the homosexuals, they shouldn't be such wusses, doing weak things like banning marriage. The way to get rid of people is to start building the camps and putting together the trains. Christians might as well be honest about it -- and start building the ovens. Because this is where that crap goes.

"Hogan's Heroes" is based on an old form of German humor that made fun of the military; Lord knows they would know. It's why the best comedians in the show -- including an actor who had worked with Billy Wilder -- were playing the "Germans." As for fat soldiers, surely no American, viewing our own great steroid-necked hog boys can talk about anyone else's military? We need a red-white-and-blue MIRROR.

After talking to (less educated) people who have been raped as children, I find them scapegoating the gay population for the attacks of pederastic relatives.
"Am I gay? Was my father gay?" they almost whimper.
"No," I answer. "Your father raped you because you were available and couldn't fight back. He would have raped girls if he could have gotten to them. It's not your fault -- and gay people aren't going to attack you."
I believe that so much of the misplaced hatred of gays is based in America's dirty giant secret -- the massive hidden rape of America's children by their caretakers.
