The Republicans have a way of rushing the Congress into War, into the Patriot Act
and into giving away money to the money gangsters.

Obama just spoke on TV. He wants to continue the campaign. He feels people need to understand where each of the candidates is coming from.
Of course Obama wants to work things out in a bipartian way. He is working with Congress via phone. He feels whoever is president needs to be able to focus on more than one thing at a time.

How true! I have been planning a book for years called PUNISHING THE POOR, listing all the many ways our society aids the rich while ignoring the poor and actually makes the poor pay more than the wealthy. Now I am thinking of a book called
The Nouveau Poor as more and more middle class people become poor

Helen Goodman keeps asking, "Since Jesus was a Jew and Peter and Paul were Jews and they were the first Christians, why do so omany Christians say they love Jesus and hate jEWS? there are hate crimes against Blacks, Mexicans, Orientals. And genicide seems to be so popular in our poor sick world. I feel sick every time I hear of a hate crime no matter who is the victim. There may be more hate crimes against Jews but there are too many hate crimes against humanity. Love and prayers Maryanne

AQs terrible as that day was, all the days that followed have had their share of sadness and tragedy, losing our privacy, being manhandled each time we get on a plane, the Patriot act, Guantanamo, the torturing, all right taken from suspects, the loss of freedom and justice for all. The shadow of 9/11 is still hurting us maryanne

Glome, thanks for the great idea. The only trouble with your idea is the traveling and the hotels cost much more than I make from the books. When Ido book signings I always do them where I have family or friends so my expenses are kept low but I still rarely make enough money to pay my air fare. I do love writing and speaking about Mother and I am v ery happy with my life even though I am rich in Love and Laughter without the money I would like to spend going around the world celebrating Mother Teresa and her work.
