Taht's exactly what they are doing Sheryl. Yes of course we need to clean things up. We clean our houses don't we (well most people do)? As to arround power plants. Most polution does fall our in the area. You will see that by what is on your grass near any manufacturing or power plant.

Actually getting rid of polution would be good but it has nothing to do with the climate. We don't have polution where we live but the cities, you can smell a city a mile off. Something should be done about that.

Yes many of them. I was President of a community organization in West Seattle two different terms. It was called HI YU and we had a float both times. We traveled to 10 or 12 parades every year. I walked or drove the float in every one of them.

Back when they were pushing for it, it was a lot more than a bit of controversy. All the publicity said it was an African holiday like our Christmas.

Reid or Biden should have repremanded him. There is no excuse for allowing him to ramble on like that in his state or intoxication.

LOL,, some times I think politicians are actually the winners of a dumb contest. Good point on the fairness doctrine.

It seems to me the politicians are supposed to listen to people since they are our representatives in government. As you said Corporations are considered people for some reasons so they should hear from them as well. Most corporations are actually owned by a great number of people too.
