Yup, the Great Barrier Reef would be tops on my list but of course any part of the country would suit me as I love to travel and explore new places.

Hi Roy. That was nicely done. The park has beautiful rock outcroppings which we don't have around here.
Looks like the fall colors haven't peaked there yet. Ours were not so spectacular this year. With the high winds ripping through here tonight there will probably be little left tomorrow.

Thank you Gina. The LLMD I will see started out as a naturopath MD so I know he will take it all into consideration.

Forgive me if you have already "talked" about it but have you tried any of the herbal treatments? I know some of the people on Lyme boards swear by them.

I'm struggling right now with all the info for treatment.

I have not yet seen an LLMD although I do have the name of the best in my state.
I am so hesitant to put all those anti-biotics into my body for what will probably be an extended period of time. Especially since it seems hardly any one is ever "cured" with them and they seem to get so much sicker. I think it's akin to chemotherapy.

Argh! What to do? I guess I'll see the LLMD and get his opinion and also try to get in touch with a naturopath.

Hi Katrina. I am almost postivie I have Lyme and have had it for years.
My health has been going downhill fast lately.
I have gotten the name of a Lyme literate MD in my state and I will make an appointment and travel the distance to see him.

This disease is so under-diagnosed and under-treated!

Heather have you ever looked into Lyme disease? It's a lot more prevelant than most people think. I have spent years suffering from many different (mostly auto-immune) diseases. Then I was led to a Lyme website and I tell ya, a light bulb went on.

Here is a link to a wonderful movie about it and the people who suffer from it and the doctors who lose their licenses because they dare to treat it properly. There are some links to clips you can watch. It's a real eye opener.

Hi Clare. I don't know if I should hope for Celiac so you can help fix what's wrong or not. If it is CD, it's really not that hard. Eating gluten-free just comes natural to me now. Eating out is the worst. It's always a risk and I am ultra sensitive so if any gluten is in my food, I will pay for it later.

I hope you were able to find someone. I will be seeing a Lyme MD soon. I'm almost positive that all my problems are due to Lyme disease.
It all makes so much sense now. Geesh! I work outside for a living for about 20 years now and as a kid, I camped with my family all over the U.S. including a couple of stays on Cape Cod.

Nice of you to write this, Danny.
My mom has been afflicted with dementia. First it was DXd as Alzheimers then Parkinsons so probably Lewy body dementia.
I'm wondering if it really isn't Lyme disease. I am just starting my own journey to try and find treatment after many years of different diagnoses and I am appalled to know how hard it is to DX and treat this hideous disease.
