Jeana--He was about 3 months old when we made this so, yes, he had very little feet! lol. And still being so new to the world, you can imagine what an experience it was for him! :)

Wow! lol. Looks like this one is so far everyone's favorite! Ironically it's the only poem I've ever written in free verse. Thanks to all of you for your positive feedback.

Faith, Tory--The name Aidan (commonly spelled Aiden) is #1 on the list of desired baby names right now. However, had I known that before I named him I would have named him something else! I didn't want him to have a common name. Oh well. :) At least I spelled it different. However, now he'll be cursed with the same fate as me--no one will ask how his name is spelled and will just assume it's spelled with an e!

Carrie--no, the smudge is a flaw in the print. It was originally just a large dot, which I tried to get rid of and, of course, ended up making it worse.

I have never personally used a Ouija but have been in the presence of others as they were using it. I have yet to see anything good come from those things. I can tell you of a couple of experiences: one where a friend tried to set it on fire and it wouldn't burn. Another friend invited a very low-level spirit into her house and he was difficult to kick out. I don't think I had ever really known what "evil" was until I encountered him. People easily misuse Ouijas because: 1) they are usually just "fooling around"--I prefer to call it playing with fire--and are not aware of the dangers involved; 2) they do not perform proper protection rituals before using the board (nor are any examples given in the manufacturer's manual, which is another red flag).
If you are going to "fool around" with a spirit board and prefer to have a positive experience, then I would suggest using The Psychic Circle instead. It is much more detailed (not just letters, numbers, goodbye and hello) and a protection prayer/ritual is provided in the manual and HIGHLY suggested by the creators before using the board. This is the only board I use and can honestly say that I have never come across a low-level being while using it. Everyone has been of high-vibrational frequency. And I don't have any problems with feeling tricked by any partners using it with me, because I mostly use it all by myself. Which I would never even consider doing with the Ouija!

I agree with Sigriet. There are those who abuse the system but not everyone does. Some people have no choice. My fiance is unable to work because his back is messed up and he will be on pain medication for the rest of his life. You ask, "Well, if he is on pain medication, then why can't he work?" Because most of the jobs here are factory jobs that would require him to lift way more than 20 lbs., which he is restricted to. And he is not even able to hold a desk job because sitting for long periods of time is very uncomfortable for him. And he can't sit in just any chair either. Nor is he able to drive because of the medication that he has to take (and if he can't even drive because of his meds, he certainly can't work while on them!). And walking more than a few blocks is impossible for him, without stopping to rest every now and then. (He has to use a cane for assistance.) So living on disability is his only option. And the government only gives you enough disability in one month to pay the bills. If you wanna eat, it's either the food shelf or food stamps.
And, yeah, I'll stick to democracy since Republicans are all for the rich and none for the poor (which would certainly explain our current recession considering only about 10% of the nation is actually rich). And Kevin S. raises a pretty damn good point too.
