Sometimes we find humor in people with no humor. Butterfly on his chest?! The butterflies I usually see are stuck to the front of my bike. That's something to write about too, but I'll refrain.

That is a cool picture. where was it taken?
Your thoughts are similar to most people at different points in life. To a fifteen year old, you probaby seem middle age, and to someone my age, you're still a "youngling" as they say in Star Wars. There is no set and fast rule for what you should have accomplished at any given age. I hope you just set out to do the best you can at whatever you try and success will be yours. In my limited experience limbo is more or less a mindset. Doing something, whether or not it is your dream, is at least not standing still.

Good show of conflicting emotions in Karl's thoughts. I liked the last line, time running out. It keeps the tension up for the next exciting addition.

Funny story. Snow bowler, I think that would be the kind of skier I would be. I tried water skiing once and that was reallly a bad idea. I can't even swim. Live and learn.

This was very well written. I hate to say that I enjoyed it because I could feel your pain at the experience. As an introvert, I believe that summed up everything I've ever attended. I hate those kind of things. I've escaped through those doors more than once.

Very exciting exit, Basil. It's too bad the heros always have to die for the cause, but then they wouldn't be heros if they didn't.
I really liked this sentence. "The soldiers formed a semi circle advancing against the two agents who poured death from their rifles as fast as they could reload, mowing down their attackers like a mid-western wheat harvest."

This was a very heartrending take on the challenge. Twenty is such a hard age for kids or grandkids to be (for us) because they are too old to boss around and too young to always use sound judgement.
