Sounds about like our suburban police blotter. At least the biggest crime is a barking dog or suspicious person (who turns out to be the UPS man).

Yes...this afternoon. Fire in the woodstove...and we had our New Year's Eve dinner! Filet mignon, asparagus, salad, sauteed mushrooms, olive bread...and champagne!

Ha! Last year one of them did use the sled. We had so much snow last year. We almost canceled Christmas get-together...but one of the daughters had a boyfriend with a 4-wheel drive and chains...we just had to walk 6 blocks down hill to get a lift!
I am sitting in here waiting for it to go away. I know you had quite the adventure on Christmas...and all it takes is 1 to 3 inches and it took our vanpool (which we were not in--vacation!) two hours to go 1/4 of the way home. And the usual commute is about 30!

I always loved that one of the ways they ensured the beaches were public from California to Washington was to make them a highway! I think I have a picture of my husband's grandparents on that highway...in their car.

I'm with the nay-sayers. And I agree with Wilma...he looks like he's afraid she is taking a bite out of him! I'm allergic to fat food it doesn't make me fast at all!

I LOVE Vivian's typo since you were complaining a little here..and I have a cat that is having a problem with that condition right now. Poor, old thing. Losing it and he's very unhappy when it happens. Me too!

Thanks...I'm such a whiner. Hate the snow. Watched a Tri-Met bus on the news sliding down the hill on US 26...it's wheels were not turning, it was just sliding backwards!

Good to see you Curt! It's like you visited my front door. It's cold out there...actually snow is falling as I type. Glad I'm inside with a fire in the woodstove! Silly husband went for a walk!

I got online to place an order for filters for my coffeemaker...then got distracted. I'm waiting for two of the kids to get off work (Starbucks barista and grocery store checker) so we can have crab dinner! YUM...and easy! Thought of you when I was making pasta. Merry Christmas, Shannon!
