Just because the president of Iran says there is no homosecuality in Iran, there really isn't. Islam doesn't accept homosexuality and that is probably why he says there isn't any. There are a lot of homosexuals in Iran in fact. Basically, there are homosexuals in every place in all countries.

It said that it happened in Iraq and said
nothing about UK. Maybe its a different case.

There has been an exhibition for her painting to bring attention to her case. The government hasn't asked for money to release her and I dont think selling paintings would convince the government. I hope I am understand what you mean.
