I think it probably is, though the scenery has changed so much since this picture was taken....Branson continues to explode with homes and businesses.

I'd love to review the DVD Greetings. This is a wonderful way to share family pictures with a loved one who lives too far away to visit. My Dad just adores pictures of our boys and we only get to visit him maybe once a year, so pictures really help him catch up. Thanks for this opportunity!

I can't wait for your visit, Trish! Just keep me apprised of the dates! I have my next year's work schedule already, so you can send me the proposed dates when you know them so that I can arrange a day or two to be off.

thanks, everyone...I just love quilting, it's always NEW. No two quilts are exactly alike, and I love the singleness of it. I love painting with color and experimenting with beads, threads, etc. I have found my art niche!!

awwww.... but what about doing a few with friends, and giving them as gifts? I love doing that. I usually make one for the neighbors across the street and for my husband's coworker. You don't have to have a reason if you just like making pies. (yes, I do.)

laundry is never done in my house. it just keeps on coming. We have an energizer bunny washing machine.

To-Do the rest of this week:
get the extra bedroom ready for my weekend guest (my cousin!)
clean up the family room
catch up the laundry
read at least one book!
check the boys' clothes to see if they are ready for school..... see, nothing to it!! LOL!

LOL @ sending Mark to the grocery store. I have a Mark, and when I send him to the store I'm sure to get most of what I want, plus a whole lot of what he wants. lol.

actually since I have Thurs and Fri off I'll do some cleaning in the house but I really want to sit around and read and relax!!! don't know if I'll get to, though.

I look forward to apple-picking time so much...I make loads of apple pies and freeze them, and bake a bunch and give them away. I have a terrific neighbor who lets me work from his trees, as long as he gets the occasional pie.
