It means that your Firewall detected someone trying to ping your computer. Depending how good your firewall is, is weather they got much information.

The induction of technology into human life to a degree that that video displays, was first thought by Cyrano de Bergerac, in the 17th Century.
But today with the advant of things like the brain implant to allow paralyzed persons to do some operations, as with mental control of computers, or in a few cases using chips to reactivate the ability to walk again.
The paradox here is that what is benefitting us, could one day be our ruin as well.

Nicole, you are exactly right. THere is a time and place for the "Me" but in a relationship, there has to be a majority of "We" or it just falls apart.

There are a number of hackers, that are what they call "White Hats" in that they do not Hack to create mischief, but to find problems. Many of these people actually work for companies that hire out to test systems for their security. Now if this guy was hired, then he was doing a service, but if he was doing this on his own, to prove a point, then that is both good and bad. Good in that he showed where a problem lies, as many "Black Hats" will hack in these just to cause mischief, or worse. It is bad in that he could have opened a door that will let many of the criminal element in easier.

BUt they had already been trying to develop communities for the slaves, true they failed, but that was why they asked Buchanan and Lincoln for help, and both refused the help. Lincoln was said to have told Jefferson he could care less. So no the South was already working towards setting them up. The reasonning was because of costs, it had gotten to expensive.

Larry, here is a common misconception. In the South, the Conservatives were trying to set the Slaves up in communities, while the Liberals had them in the north living in the streets like dogs, and often treated worse. They even opposed helping the Conservatives when asked for help in setting up communities, preferring the Blacks to be out of their sight. It was not until the illegal land grab that caused the Civil war, where the North backed by Lincoln was trying to force Southerners to give up their land to big business, and then had to justify the war, that the Slavery issue even came up. Remember the emancipation proclamation of 1863, was written 17 months after the war started, and passed 01/01/1863. If this had been the reason for the war, this or another bill would have been written before the war, and never was.

The fact is, and most of the Conservative know this, is that there have been serious changes between the left and right, they have done compleat switches to today.
Yes most Liberals would be Conservative today, while most Conservastives would be Liberals today.

Larry, I know it is more than just one side, which is why I am against both the two party system, and where the Liberals and Conservatives have gone. The politicians that have been from the Conservative side, have been weak, and failed to stand to the much stronger Liberal side, and they as the liberals have also made many wrong moves and committed numerous crimes. Yes the Liberals have delighted in their criminal behavior, and made things by far much wrose, but they arfe also the stronger of the movements.
This makes both sides equally wrong, I know.
But if we are going to make any changes at all, we need to get them from outside the political ring, and away from the Lawyers and Judges. Who? Beside the common people and business people, I don't know who by name, but just the area we'll have to look for them.

Thank you for your vote of confidence. I talk a lot of what needs done, but other than the base Ideas, that is all I really know about it. I have no earthly idea what should be done to make them reality. So I keep saying them, to politicians, to the people, and where ever I can. Maybe I'll find the right person that way? Maybe not... I just know we need to get rid of the two party system, and go towards a more moderate view, so that we can stand on facts, not political dogma. The only real problem is with the moderate view, it has been so influxed by liberals and people that have no idea what is going on, that those of us that actually pay attention get over ran and degraded by that that do not even fit the view.

I have always found Love painful.

To much of this world is based on the "Me" that we loose the ability to develop the "Us" in many things we do.

Well then by your view, lets just let this country continue to go down the tubes, and quit trying to stand up for it. That would be the easy way to handle the whole of the situation, and let the crooked politicians do as they please.
The thing is, we need to make a stand and look for people that will do better than what we have today. If we start with people better, then more that are what is needed will see that they have a chance, and will step forward. Not for the sake of the power, but for the sake of the country. Right now, we have more people in the government there for themselves than for the country. And those that would stand up for the country, will likely have to be talked into running, but at least they would be more vcocal and stand in the right circles so that they could be found. I believe they exist, they just do not want the office, or the job, and who could blame them?

I think we need to go back to old school, like when this country was first founded. We did not have politicians then, we had business men and commoners, they were more interested in the Country than their wallets. We need to get away from the Politicians and from the Lawyers, and get people that actually care in there. Remember Thomas Jefferson spoke about this; "Whenever a man has cast a longing eye on offices, a rottenness begins in his conduct. "

One thing to remember, this is not falling on the sword for Obama, as Obama is like Ried, falling on the sword for Pelosi. These people are only doing as Pelosi has called them to do, thus they are salling on the sword for her.
Obama has failed to get any respect from anyone, and became a puppet for Pelosi as soon as he entered office; yes I am saying he is her putz. Right now the left pays more attention to Pelosi than they ever will Obama.
And yes, it is already being seen that many are loosing ground for supporting Pelosi's Health Care reform. Ried is even lagging way behind in Nevada, a good number of Liberal Senators have already said they will not run again after looking at the polls for supporting this bill.

As much as I loved being in Texas, this is one issue, thatr also plagues many states, in that they do have a problem. CPS has gotten too much power, in that many good parents are afraid of them, while many poor parents have no worries. Which should be just the opposite. I seen this before there, where a girl who was sneaking out to spend the night with a 27 year old, and she was 14, her parents locked her in at nights so she could not escape to his adult lover. The girl called CPS and even with all the information, and proof that the young girl was sleeping with this adult, CPS found in favor of the girl, in that her rights were steped on... And then took the parents to court for "Child Abuse", yet failed to charge the adult who was sleeping with the underaged girl.

Which is my point, that because there have been deaths, and other reaction to this dangerous vaccine, it is likely smarter that Pregnant women are not using it that much. How many babies could be affected by some of the side effects know from this vaccine, which are high chances than any other flu vaccine?

Yes the Republicans do spend to much, and since we have not had a real conservative in office, they have not had a good reapresentation. Yes that have had some run as a Conservative, like McCain, but were either like McCain, more liberal than Conservative, or they were so weak that they did little but give their power away like Bush Jr.
Most of the time tax plans get changed to big business, like the Democrats did to Bush's plan during the first term, when he wanted tax cuts to small business, then when the Democrats got through with hie bill, they had Big business as the main reciever of the cuts, which as usual did very little.
The whole time Bush was in Office, I constantly was up set with him for giving away power to the Liberals. Every time he had a good idea, he let the Liberals, which for the fist 2 years were the minority, have control of things because he wanted to work with both sides, Unlike Obama and this adminstration which has, as usual, shut any opposing views out of thsir way.

"How do you fix the system? How do you prevent the big money guys from controlling your government? "

These are mostly Lawyers, experts in manipulating Lawspeak, we have to get someone that can work the same language and use it for our benefit instead of their own. The closest we have to that now, is Inhofe.

Shadie, the Spirits teach that these challenges are not put here to test our faiths, only our actions can do that. They are here to make us stronger, and often to help us help someone weaker than us. Your son needed a strong mother, so you had to become stronger than you knew you were, thus the pain from seeing him enjoy the treatment in the hospital helped you toughen up, so that you would be there for him, and your two year old.
Archer was blessed by making you and your husband toughen up, so you could handle what was needed for your son, without fear dominating you.
