I'd have to say that I'm not a huge reader of spooky books..but I like an occasional scare. I read Carrie years and years ago and loved it, definitely creepy.. but havent read a Stephen King book since..he scares me! LOL I looove Anne Rice books though..read all the Vampire Chronicles books twice..but I think my favorite would have to be from the Mayfair Chronicles.. "The Witching Hour". That whole series is fabulous!

I just started the Twilight series, finally, after finishing a great book that I totally loved, called "the Thirteenth Tale"..sooo good! My next read, after I finish the Twilight series, will be "The Historian"..already have it sitting on my TBR pile, it looks really good..cant wait to read it.

I'm a HUUUGE fan of Pixar movies, and all movies of that type..and also Disney cartoons. I have them all and watch them often..and I don't even have kids for an excuse LOL It's so hard to pick a favorite, but I think it would be toss-up between The Incredibles and Bolt..but if you ask me again tomorrow my answer will probably be different. They're all wonderful. I haven't seen Aliens in the Attic yet, but it's on my list of 'need to buy" movies. I'm all giddy cuz I just saw a commercial that Up is coming to DVD and I haven't seen that yet either ..cant wait! :O)

For me to kill someone, it would have to be accidentally..in self-defense. I feel sad when I step on a bug..and I chase my dog around the porch trying to save the frogs hopping around out there at night from being eaten.. LOL In the heat of the moment, ya never know what you'll do..but I can't imagine hurting anyone deliberately. :O)

I haven't seen any of them..but I will definitely be watching most of them when they come out on DVD.. I love a good chick flick and absolutely love Sandra Bullock..so I know I'm gonna looove that..but not sure it's worth paying movie theater rates to watch that ...I'd probably go see My Sister's Keeper, but I hear it's a serious tear-jerker, so bring your tissues if you see that one. I am a huge animated/Pixar film fan..and I hear UP is really good..but if they give you headaches..hmm.. maybe not. The Ugly Truth looks hilarious..can't wait for the DVD on that one. Okay..so I'm not very helpful..LOL

Just wanted to stop by and say hi and thanks for the sweet comment earlier..I really miss my Gather time and all my friends here too, but life is hectic, unfortunately..just haven't had the time. I hope to get back into it eventually though. :O)

awww..they are sooo cuuuute. I would so love to get me some chicks and have fresh eggs too..but I just don't have the time to care for them..and I'm afraid my dogs would eat them if they got hold of them :O( but I'm looking forward to seeing more of your adventures..and your goat adventures too LOL

..oh..the only thing that sucks, is the internet marketers/spammers have also found twitter and will likely try to start following you/get you to follow them..to build their "lists"..but you can choose to have to allow people to follow you first/approve them..then you'll only be followed by people you want to be linked with.

Twitter is, like everyone has said, to post 140 character "status updates" to your friends/family. It is addicting lol. You connect with people you know, and also, like Gather, make friends/"followers" with new people whom you find interesting and want to receive their "tweets". There is a new influx recently of celebs posting on Twitter, too..Ashton Kutcher is #1, Demi Moore, Sarah Gilbert, Alyssa Milano, John Mayer, Miley Cyrus, Joan Lundon, Melissa Gilbert, Soleil Moon Frye, Ryan Seacrest, Paula Abdul, Nicole Richie..to name just a few..all very active tweeters..as well as Suze Ormon who gives out free advice every day to questions for her "followers".. So if you're a rabid fan of some actor/band/musician/etc, you can "follow" them and get the low-down on their lives day to day. Also, any TV program, website, etc you enjoy, chances are they have a twitter page, or will be soon. It's busting out all over. time sucking void?? yeah, but so is Gather LOL Even if you don't want to follow a bunch of people, it is a good idea for Gather members to join and try to get followers there, because you can post your Gather article links there and tweets are Google searchable....could lead to more traffic = more $$$$$

I'm too lazy to go add it up, but I'm sure it was under 600.00.. but I haven't been around much since September or so, so that put a dent in my earnings here.. too busy earning cash at my actual job ..LOL but I did pretty good here, and plus a couple free books, CDs, misc products and a DVD..not too shabby!

mm.. that sounds yummy! we usually do Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve. a honey ham, mac n cheese, salads, etc...but this year we're doing that on Christmas day instead .so dinner tonight was leftover chicken stir fry i made last night .. tomorrow I get the goodies lol

After almost 15 years in Florida.. it still seems strange to me for it to be 70 degrees and sunny on Christmas, and knowing so much of the country is covered in snow right now LOL I'm not complaining.. ohh noooo .. it's just strange LOL

I shop at Walmart all the time..and I definitely fall in the trap. I have to buy 50 lb bags of dog food, and they're cheaper there.. plus the food is cheaper than most grocery stores..though I will go to Publix or Winn Dixie when they have great sales. I can't get out of Walmart for less than 100 to 150.00 every time I go. That sucks they're closing the fabric department, but it's good that you got such great deals. I really like Target too, but it's a lot farther than Walmart so I rarely get to go there. mmmm smoothies.. my favorite is ice, strawberries, banana, vanilla yogurt and orange juice...yummy!
