I agree with Denise. I would let the teacher know it. I am a teacher aide for special needs here in Denver, CO and I know that you should go to the teacher to let her know what was said. I know that they can have an "overall" discussion to the class as a whole without saying the actual words, so nobody is really identified.

I try to stick to Suzanne Somer's way of eating. The problem is that her way is that you don't mix carbs with protein. But I get confused when I read the low fat diets. When I make stir fry is it bad to have brown rice with it?
