Celebrating ELSIE
With consideration and a depth of gratitude, I’ll boastfully orate
As I infiltrate my memory of time’s duration and lovingly narrate
A regenerated Cinderella vibration, desperate to wishing upon a star
With aspirations to generating a Fairy Godmother, a literate avatar
Celebrating maturation of forty-six enumerated years, she appeared
An inspiration who perpetrated adoration through all she’s persevered
Exhilarated to dance on the dandelion moon, consecrating the stratosphere
An unadulterated demonstration of love for life so grateful and sincere
A crossroads to humanity’s collaboration was curative and liberated many
Accelerating spirits to concentrate on conjuration with positive antennae
A cooperative pirate whose only declaration will simply steal your heart
Disintegrating pain with her commiserate nature, rationally set apart
She orchestrates rare strength, illustrating her imperative with written words
An exploration to commemorate a fraternal band of brothers left unheard
The wrath of life’s endless expiration survives with admiration felt
Making alterations to keep lucrative all the generational cards dealt
Decorated with shoulder kisses and invigorated by proliferate growth
A matriarch with deliberate intent to magistrate operating by universal oath
She’s integrated transfiguration in this 80 year marathon journey in stride
Elaborating on little frustrations when forced to migrate, as corporate decides
Separate to none in obliterating fears counterattacked with deep love
Regrets are inoperative and irrational to denigrating those watching above
Spirit strategically placed her in my path as we mutually recuperate from our loss
No exaggeration of the gratification to congratulate ‘Elsie’- a stone gathering no moss.
