I think the majority of Americans want fair health care... not what the insurance company's or big government want to sell us. Most American's want the ability to chose their own doctor and get the best healthcare available. No one is going to support healthcare reform just because it is cheap. No body wants to die while a pencil pushing weenie decides whether he can get his operation or not.

I want Marcus Welby- not Doctor Nick.

I don't want to pay Cadillac prices through higher taxes and get Yugo treatment. That's how the UK does it. As I see it, everyone needs to pony up for healthcare costs- not just the rich, not just the middle class and not just the poor... EVERYONE. There's no such thing as a free lunch... in spite of how our congress is tossing trillions of dollars around like a drunken sailor on shore leave.

i watched the movie "1984" and also read the book. It sounds like Orwell's vision might be bearing fruit in our lifetime. Plenty of stuff that has been in the news sounds like it could have come from his book. Scary.

I heard that the White House wants people to start e-mailing them with names of people who are saying "fishy stuff" about his health care plan... What the heck does the term "fishy stuff" mean? Does it mean that someone rats you out because you don't agree with the President and his socialistic medical agenda? I thought Gulag's and narcing out your neighbor went the way of Hitler 's youth and the Soviet Union? What ever happened to "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" or is it only reserved for "certain" opinions? I.E. opinions that support the current congress and administration... even Nixon wasn't this sicko.
