I see kangaroo meat all the time in the supermarket (I'm in Australia), next to the lamb and beef.

I've tried it. A kangaroo sausage is okay, but I find the roast too 'gamey'. The steak the same, though it could be because on both occasions it too long. I should have known better, seeing that I love having my steak cooked rare.

Apparently kangaroo meat doesn't shrink when you cook it.

I haven't had camel. Not sure I could. They're far too adorable. Those big eyes!

I probably live in a very unique situation because I live on a property and we have kangaroos to the one side (and they hop over here quite often), cows in the back paddock and, I kid you not, camels on the other side.

I think young people should realise that getting married doesn't make life better. It makes it more challenging. And unless they're up for the challenge, then don't sign up for the commitment.
