I don't really have any hard floors, but I sweep the small ones I have whenever necessary or when I am about to wash them. I am the same way with vacuuming, but I try to do that a minimum of once a week.

As for me, I generally like all gifts except non-functional or decorative gifts. I don't like stuffed animals, nick-nacks, fake flowers and the like. I do like candles because they burn out and you can throw them away.

I'll take the candy if you don't want it. You can also talk your kids into donating some of it to Feeding America, too.

I don't know what it is about other relatives when parents tell them "no candy" when they hand their kids over to them and the first thing the other relatives do is feed the child some sweets. There's usually a reason why the parent says "no candy" and the person taking care of them should abide by that wish.

I have auto-immune issues and am only in my 40s, but I think I might have a small case of shingles going on. It's very painful and there's a small rash, but it's not oozing (at least not yet). I may have to see a doctor because I can't get the pain to go away. It's a small pain, though, at least, and bearable, but distracting. I just hope it goes away in the time frame that you mentioned.

I haven't flown in ages. I remember one kid sleeping next to me that kept pushing on me with his head and shoulders and things like that. I couldn't believe that he was doing that. Maybe he was copping a feel, lol.

In most states, there is a guideline that repair shops must use as a basis for what they charge the customer. They can charge an hourly rate of whatever they want, but the guidelines tell them how many hours they can actually charge for a certain job. If it is more difficult than he expected, he should have advised you as soon as he inspected where the light was.

I don't know if these guidelines are in place for your state. They're basically to protect the consumer so that "lazy" mechanics don't claim they took way more time to do a job than what is average so that they can charge more than the job should have cost.

You can check with your state's BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) to find out and file a complain if you think it's worth it.

I don't know the answer, but another site I used had the same problem. The site managers traced it right to an ad and removed it very quickly after finding out.

Yeah, that's a vulture. I see more of those around here than eagles, who are almost the same size in wing span.
