Yes, times have changed. I have an obituary written about my great aunt when she died at 18 with TB. It was so flowery in word usage. Sounded more like an introduction at a debutante ball than an obituary.

Ed has deep fried a turkey several times. We have the pot and the burner. He alwas does it out on the cool deck of the pool...just in case of a grease fire. But never one yet.
The turkey is golden and crispy on the outside, and very moist on the inside.
For Thanksgiving, though, we always cook the traditional way.

But if you remove the skin...there is no greasy meat at all...MOIST but not greasy!!

Where are you pricing the pot and burner? Ed bought ours at Lowes (like Home Depot) for just under $40.
