Many comments here are on the mark. We don't know what behaviors this student showed leading up to the tasing. We don't know the exchanges made between PD and student, we only here him screaming and sounding rather entitled (my opinion) when he could have complied with PD requests. Also, PD was rather thick-headed to think that after tasing him that said student could just stand up and walk out with them. Lots of aggressive students there, they are lucky a riot didn't occur.

Hi Gil - I was an Air Force brat (and now, as an adult, a former Marine); our family lived at Tachikawa Air Base from 1972 to 1975. I was in elementary school, my brother a bit older and in middle school. I have so many wonderful memories of Japan and hope to start posting here in this group when I have more time. Disco is awesome! and I'm not embarrassed to admit it :^) Thing is, some of the best session players in the country were on those albums, back in the 70's. I used to listen to them along with my older brother - he was in middle and high school for the Saturday Night Fever scene - and I can say without hesitation that I am a bass player because of all the disco & R&B that he exposed me to during those years. Many classic bass lines to learn from all that disco, gotta love it :^) --- Todd
