Avon has a product I used to use called Skin So Soft. The oil version. It works pretty well for me.

I agree with the chemical part of your statement Wilma. I have taken three different medications for this, and am now on Prozac. But I've been on it over five years, and this is still the worst episode I've encountered in decades. I believe my depressive episodes are a combination of events AND chemical imbalance. I swear, if Tom Cruise were face to face with me like he was Matt Lauer, I'd have smacked him. Post Partum Depression is one of the worst kinds, because some women never experience depression their entire lives until after their child is born. Then SMACK......and there is not a darn thing anyone can do about it. It just happens, but what a shock to someone who is experiencing it for the first time.

I agree with you Corrine, but I wouldn't say ingnorance. Perhaps it's just uninformed, or unexperienced.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and words. Depression doesn't just affect one person. It affects everyone around them. Whole worlds, in some cases! We are appealing SSD, and getting an attorney. Got an appt. Wednesday. Bless you all!

Okay, call me shallow, but I just can't get past his vocals on "We Are The World" when he sings "for you and me" through his nose. My son did a parody of him singing that, and every time someone says "Dylan" I crack up! On the other hand, I respect him as a poet, and freely ask "Jim WHO?" (the Doors)

Have you ever had a morning that everything you read, see and do shouts "God Loves You..give praise and thanks!" This is one of those mornings for me, and this poem reaffirms his presence in my life. Great writing MET. You are blessed, as I am, that HE works through you. Hugs!

Very good advice. I keep emergency kits in both vehicles, in our fire proof safe, in our 'crawl space' tornado space locked in waterproof airtight bags, and make sure I send a copy of all important papers to our attorney. Hope none of you have to use these EVER!! Hugs, Compubear

My sister was born Dec. 26, her name is "Carol". She always felt cheated by having her birthday so close to Christmas, so we try extra hard to make her feel special on her day. Happy Birthday Corina, and many happy returns. Great story. Doesn't Carol Roach do such a nice job on this board? Thanks so much Carol.
