I remember my dad eating those monsters when I was a kid in chi town. BTW I just had Malnati's deep dish pizzaa shipped up to me from chicago. Ever since I left Chicago I really miss their pizza (my favorite being Gino's sausage). But the travel channel ran a show about Chicago pizza and said Malnatis will deliver anywhere in the country--I can't wait to dig in.

I hate formal night too. We only went to the first formal night then skipped the second one. We preferred eating in the buffet; mainly because it was a lot less stuffy. We're jeans & t-shirts people so dressing up is a pain. The food was superb wherever we ate at.

We've taken two Carnival trips; one last spring break and the other this spring break (two weeks ago). The first one was to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios. My husband and I took our 18 yr old son for his HS grad present and also our 5 yr old son.

The trip was fantastic. We had a very spacious cabin (normal bathroom). For our older son we bought him a drink card for about $40; then he could drink as much pop as he wanted on the boat. Didn't do that for the little one; he prefers water.

The younger one was in Camp Carnival which kept him pretty busy. My older one was too old to be in the teen activities (cut off at 17) but he metup with lots of other graduating seniors and they had fun together.

Excursions varied in price. In Grand Cayman we did a pirate excursion through Carnival which was actually a lot of fun. Ocho didn't have any excursions we wanted to do so we just walked around downtown and found a really nice (free) nature center called Turtle Park. It was great because no merchants were allowed inside so it was a welcome break from everyone constantly tryong to get you to buy something.

Anyway that's all I can think of for now--I hope it was helpful.

I love how he sings Al Green's classic hit "Let's Stay Together." He definitely does the song justice.

I only watched the show sporadically but stopped completely once Rosie joined. She is too abrasive for my taste. Maybe the real reason she left is because she wants to keep herself available in case she gets offered The Price Is Right.

Very impressive article (10).

Years ago (when rap was first gaining popularity) a black male colleague of mine stopped in a music store over lunch and bought a rap tape of some famous group. While driving home he played the tape in his car. He became so disgusted and enraged at the lyrics that he took it out of the tape player and flung it out of the window on to the highway.

The only way to stop the vulgarity and offensive comments is to stop listening and financially supporting it.
