I agree, but "common sense regulation" means different things to people. It's a difficult, floor/ceiling thing on which people will always disagree.

Your comment about a well-regulated militia is way off base. Do some more research on what exactly the founding fathers meant when they wrote that. It has nothing to do with regulating the firearms, and everything to do with the regulation of the members of the militia. Sorry, but please try again.

Krissy, I agree. If someone, even police, were to wait until the shooting started, then there would be a lot more people hurt. Quite unnecessary! The idea is to thwart the hurting in the first place!

Thanks for sharing your ideas. I'm still not sure how I feel about this president we have. I'm on the fence on so many issues. Maybe by the time he leaves office I'll be able to sort out my thoughts.
