I had Thieves at my booksigning yesterday, and it drew people in from all around. Some already knew about Thieves and wanted to talk to me about how much they loved it and how it's kept them healthy in this flu season, but others were just fascinated by the aroma. It was fun sharing info with them at the signing, in addition to talking about books!

Hey, A.F.! I've heard amazing things about tea tree oil. There are tons of varieties of Eucalyptus, I was surprised to learn. But most are so good for opening up the lungs and sinuses. Thanks for telling us about your solutions. ;o)

You're so right, Jennifer. God knew when he put us on this earth that we'd have challenges and disease, and he gave us the solutions right in all these amazing plants that we still know so little about! We just have to start looking at the gifts he's given us, starting before biblical times...

Christine, you hit the nail on the head. And funny you should mention therapy, I'm seriously considering going back to college for a masters degree in therapy. One of the options is "poetry therapy" or "writing therapy," which in itself is a legitimate new field (like music and art therapy). Thanks for the on target comment!

Sandre, what a wonderful comparison between blueprints and paintings - excellent point here. I'm glad you enjoyed the illustration. Frankly, I was able to let off a little steam here as well. Though I only showed one side of an issue, some of the things I vented about were based on fact. (shhhhh, don't tell anyone!)

Thanks, Nancy. I think there's something very personal about writing in present tense (which I've never done) and writing directly to another person (second person POV?) which brings pieces like this to your attention. If I'd written it as "he thought, he said, he wondered," it might not have packed as much of a whallop, I think. ;o)
