You did the right thing because at least now after this episode of security guard looking for her it will be more memorable and there's a bigger chance she'll remember next time. It's important to know where your children are and she really isn't an adult yet living on her own. Like a couple of girls before me said, i would have done the same thing. You are not being an overprotective mom. All you were asking her for was to take on a little bit of responsibility, that's it. it's not like you stay with her there every day and night.

I'd love to listen to Wizard of Oz on audio. I do like audio books a lot myself, I think they are much better than music or radio talk shows.

Today's Illusion, you obviously have no idea about something as 'working under the table'. More families than ever are on food stamps because it's easier than ever to cheat the system and all they have to do is drive up to the DSS office in a brand new Audi or BMW (I know, I have seen it many times, also people using food stamps in the store and then packing their groceries into a huge brand new Escalade or some such) and then show no proof of income or limited proof of income because all the money they make is cash not reported anywhere.

Agreed! You pretty much have put into coherent sentences what I have been thinking for the longest time. And not only in regards to evolution theory but all other 'scientific' theories. The same thing with climate change. The 'scientists' give us all the 'proof' of how the climate has been worsening for the past couple of thousand of years and yet it's all really based on assumptions because no one was let's say in Antarctica 2000 years ago to measure the temperature, no one even knew about the existence of it then. So I ask myself and I advise my child to always ask, 'How is telling me that believing in God and creation is absurd because I have no proof for it different from telling me that I have to believe in being an accident, coming from monkeys and all the other scientific rigmarole because it's a 'fact' despite there being no proof for it either?'

You shouldn't judge a book by its cover just like you should not judge a whole post by its first paragraph. My opinion is not the only negative one and just to show you the reviews from elsewhere on the net:

Book critic, thank you for your comment, it is greatly appreciated. I admit I got confused with your theory on blurbs. I am saddened by the fact you did not bother to read the whole post. Had you read it you would have known that the said blurbs were only bad icing on a stale cake. I have pointed out why I didn't like the book later on in the post and it truly had nothing to do with what other authors had to say about 'The Reincarnationist'.
Most importantly, People, EW and such make no impression on me as their opinion is not my opinion and I actually never like anything only because the press tells me to like it. If you really want to find out how well received the above mentioned book was maybe you should read what other people, who actually went out and paid for it had to say. Not really raving in praise I must say( goodreads, shelfari and LT among them).
Thank you for your opinion however. It warranted a response but I will not go into a debate as Ms. Rose's book is not good enough or bad enough for it, it's just luke warm.
