Hi, I have to say my first reaction to this review was where's the rest of it? I see other book reviews you've written are somewhat longer & this one reads like it was written for a 3rd grader by a 3rd grader (nothing against 3rd graders).

I agree with you. I hate the new TV Guide. Did you know there are now 2 sites -- tvguide.com, which was the original tv guide web site, where all the blogs once were, which was fun, and tvguidemagazine.com, which is now the official TV Guide Magazine site?

I think it went downhill when Ausellio got scooped up by Entertainment Weekly, and then the web site gobbled up everyone's blogs & favorite pages -- it was a nice companion to the print edition, which as you note is overladen with photos of 'hot' 'sexy' people.

I'm not renewing my subscription either.

After seeing yet another sickening report about acid poured on the faces of women who stand up to men in that part of the world, I searched for info on Senator Biden's 'International Women Against Violence' bill.

This link will take you to a site that will send a letter to the Senate and to the President urging them on behalf of the National Organization for Women to pass Senator Biden's bill.

Hi, Bsue. I envy you, still can't get BBC-A here, but I-tunes has started carrying a lot of the shows, so I did get to see Robin Hood & Torchwood via my I-Pod (connected to my tv set).

I like the narrative idra-- one, two, three tears -- very effective, Something about it doesn't quite scan, though. The rhythm's off somewhere. Do you read your poems out loud to yourself?

Me, too, I liked this little essay. Thanks for reading my story. I was taught to think of prose as a sculpture and to chisel away at the stone or marble or gefilte fish, whatever, to reveal and perfect it, something like that.

I'm seven months too late, but will still be voting Democrat, whoever the nominee is: Obama, probably, but if there's a roll call vote in Colorado, and Hilary Clinton's name is called, I'll be rooting for her anyhow.

Well., I can't take pictures, but here's what I like -- 1 sugar-free, fat-free container of vanilla yogurt, about 60 calories, stirred, with 2 cups of Columbian coffee with a smodge of milk.
