In the name of Jesus I pray that Kathline's body be healed. May the same Jesus who healed the blind, who raised the dead, who walked on water, may that same Jesus meet you where you are today and comfort you and restore you. Do you have faith in God? I have been through many trials and if it wasn't for the Lord I would not have made it through. You are in my continued prayers.

Wow, I have been blessed to have had such a wonderful mother. She died of lung cancer about 16 years ago. So mothers day is sometimes difficult, but because I'm a mother myself this lifts me from my sorrow. My mother was loving, kind and very quirky which made her fun. She wanted the best and the most for each person in her life. She was so giving of herself. Always the first with an encouraging word. I hope that I have inherited these qualities because they made her endeared by all. One of my most special memories was when I was a kid my mom brought us (myself, my sister and 3 brothers) to her work on halloween all dressed up and then afterwards we meet my dad in New York City for a pancake breakfast.

Hey Paula,
On these types of days, I intentional try to think of things to be thankful for. Like at least I don't have the flu, or thank God I have a home and food on the table. Another thing that works is to rent a very funny movie and have a good laugh but if all else fails, I just have myself a good cry!
