That's true too John. If you start a problem thinking that it is insurmountable then it probably is or will become so.

Yeah I think I have a wee bit of a self hate problem and maybe tripped myself on purpose.

The other student is 18 and in the Criminal Justice program. She wants to be a "cop on the beat" when she gets done. She's not a hater, just a bit of a control freak. I honestly think its kind of sweet, she's worried about my artistic soul being cashed out. She's young and hasn't gotten to that personal point in life where you make the judgement about what is truly important in a person's life. One of the things I've discovered about making things is that once I have the process for making them down, I can then create as many as I want, in any way that I want. This allows me the freedom to give up or sell the ones that I want or keep the ones that I want. I'm not a machine and every piece has its own persona, but that doesn't mean that I am losing something by having it taken away. One I still have it in my mind and can visit as often as I like, plus I still have the right to select who I sell it to. As an example this piece is not of grade that I would sell it, but I am compelled by the process to make others and improve my skills so that I can sell them.

Definitely take an art or craft class. I was talking to the instructor about this class and how many problem solving skills you get from it, in addition to the satisfaction of using your hands and your aesthetic sense. Unhappily he informed me that the class next year will only be available to architecture students at this class. Although it is appropriate for architecture students to take this class, restricting it to just them deprives the other non-arch students of skills and mental processes that will help them in their careers just as much as the architecture students. I am actually thinking of putting together a proposal for a class for non-arch students. I don't think the college would take me, but I could do it on my own, possibly through the local gallery. When I say "putting together a proposal" I mean the idea has been popping in and out of my head since that talk with the instructor.

I'm not recommending it. It's fluff. It even says so in the title. Why would you put yourself out there for fluff?

Will you also spring for the travel fare from MI to TN? Not to mention my other expenses. Food, boarding, Sponge bob bathing toys, love oils, LOST orgy pack (this maybe the only way for Ann to actually get it) and a kennel for my wonder brick?

This assumes you give yourself enough time to solve the problem. With all the venues of convenience and time saving features, you'd think we would have enough time to solve just about anything. I made instant coffee in my microwave and found myself traveling back in time, yet I am still late for my chemistry final.

Perhaps the dumbwaiter technician knows something that you don't know. Like the city is saving money by expanding the morgue into the same building as the library.
Does this mean if I have a library card I can check out a cadaver for the carpool lane?

Playing "hide the pickle" with a lurking pickle seems safer and more family friendly than the similar game "find the Twinkie."

Like I mentioned this piece is about motion and in this case its about motion that maintains a body over one spot. Along with the exaggeration of size and the opposing of ideas of light and heavy I put a lot of contradictory ideas into it, just for the fun of the viewer and of course myself.
