This sounds like an interesting book. I have periformis syndrome (like sciatica) and can not sit for long time periods. I have tried stretches, walking- 6 miles a day and using some weight equipment. This is something I need to look into. In addition, I am going through perimenopause, and I bet this might help with some of those issues as well. I would be honored to review and report on this book.

My favorites were Wind in the Willows, the Little House on the Prairie books and the Lord of the Rings books. Re-reading the Lord of the Rings as an adult was an interesting experience.

My favorite place to read is in the shade, near the river in our local metroparks. It is nice to be able to enjoy the warm weather, and a cool breeze while escaping the everyday with a good book!

maybe that's what I am going through. I have cut out soda ( reg and diet), and fast food, have been feeling tired, and sad, but also dealing with fibroids, a cyst and possible peri-menopause

I have fibroids- just found out about them last July, I believe there are three of them each around 5 CM. Hoping that I do not have to have these removed. I'm 41, OB/GYN hopes to get me through menopause without issues with these. My mom hit menopause around 47 or so- hopefully, I will be the same way. My grandma had issues with bleeding, they took everything out when she was 42 or 43.

Hi, I found this while searching for info on fibroids and wondering what to expect. I'm 41, have a few fibroids (5 cm or so). Hoping they don't grow too much. I've never had kids and don't like the idea of surgery. My mom hit menopause at 46 or 47 (she isn't sure because she had no issues) and my grandma had everything removed at 42 or so, due to bleeding and pre cancerous issues - or so she was told. I suspect maybe it was just fibroids and not cancer, as things were obviously very different 40 plus year ago.

A boost in energy would be great. Dealing with chronic pain from sciatica makes one very tired and anything that can help increase energy would be a blessing!

My plans for spring are to walk more, get the yard cleaned up (winter came sooner than usual) and continue to find ways to reduce my sciatic pain- maybe get rid of it one day. I have been dealing with it since September 08 and walking and stretching seem to help.

I would love to review Enya. Enya has such a unique sound. Seal would be interesting as well. I am not familar with Missy Higgins. I find that music is very helpful in motivating and keeping things light. I have found with the economy the way it is, that listening to a good piece of music, or a good album helps me to put things in perspective.

I would like to be able to review Enya. I enjoy Enya's unique take on music. I would guess Seal would be an interesting listen as well. I am not familiar with Missy Higgins. I like all kinds of music and find that music can be a great motivator as well as a pick me up. I find that when I am feeling down, or feeling bored that a good piece of music can help put things in perspective and help me to rejuvenate.

I'm not voting for the one. There is no change going on. This is just history repeating itself. I am very concerned about jobs evaporating under higher taxes, not being able to get health care or service ( look at Canada and Europe) and I just don't trust the guy. He does not have enough experience to run this country. Where has he actually had to lead people?

I am voting for McCain also. I am concerned at how biased the media has become and by how much money Obama has spent. For someone who is supposedly understanding of the average person, where is he getting all this campaign money. Also, why is his birth certificate now sealing from viewing by the state of Hawaii. What is everyone afraid of. If someone questioned if where I was born and I was running for public office, I would want people to know that I was truthful. I am for less government instead of more, and I do not want the government telling me how and where to spend my money. There is a movement- listed in the Wall Street Journal about taking our 401(K)'s over. We would be required to contribute 5% of our income and we would get a 3% annual increase.
